The post is for 3= years and will start on the 1st of August 2009. The main aim of this project is to seek a better understanding and the reco= nstruction of water conditions at the time of the early reconnection of the= Black Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, based on a multi-proxy approach; sea-s= urface conditions will be traced with organic-walled dinoflagellate cysts, = and bottom conditions will be assessed from ostracod assemblages.
