TENURE TRACK FACULTY POSITION
The Division of Marine Affairs and Policy at the University of Miami
Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science (RSMAS) is
searching to fill a tenure track faculty position. The candidate must
have a doctoral degree and a record of scholarly/professional
accomplishments in the area of human-environment interactions, with
an emphasis in disciplines such as marine anthropology, marine
archaeology, ocean and coastal law and policy, natural resource
economics, GIS, aquaculture and climate affairs. Position #036408.
The candidate will be expected to generate research funding, teach
graduate and undergraduate courses, mentor students and participate
in the intellectual life of the School. Salary: Competitive.
For full consideration, applicants should submit the following
materials by April 30, 2008 (1) a current curriculum vitae, including
a complete list of publications; (2) a personal statement discussing
the candidate's research, and how it would fit into a framework of
collaborative, interdisciplinary scholarship at RSMAS; (3) three
