Call for Abstracts
2008 AMQUA Biennial meeting
Quaternary Ice Sheet-Ocean Interactions and Landscape Responses


The website for the 2008 meeting is:

The online abstract service is now live, and abstracts may now be 
submitted for invited plenary session presentations and for 
contributed poster presentations. All members are encouraged to make 
poster presentations. These may be on any topic of interest to 
Quaternary scientists. AMQUA poster sessions have a tradition of 
scientific exchange and social gathering. The poster sessions have 
separate time allotments and do not compete with oral sessions.

Online registration will be available soon. Please check the meeting website.

Schedule highlights:

June 2-3, Polar Ice Core Teaching Workshop, organized by the "Cutting 
Edge" organization, which also organized the very successful teaching 
workshop at the Bozeman AMQUA.
June 4, Karst and Hydrogeology of Central Pennsylvania field trip, 
led by Richard Parizak
June 5-7, Scientific program, oral poster and sessions
June 7-9, Pleistocene Record in the Middle and Lower Susquehanna 
River Basin field trip, led by Duane Braun and Edward Ciolkosz
