The 39th Annual Binghamton Geomorphology Symposium, *Fluvial Deposits and

*, will be held from Friday-Sunday, October 10-11, 2008 on the campus of the
University of Texas in Austin. A pre-symposium field trip is scheduled for
October 8 and 9, and extends from the Texas Hill Country to the Gulf of
Mexico.

The goal of the 2008 Symposium is to bring together a diverse range of
scholars to advance our understanding of geomorphology and environmental
history in several key areas, particularly in paleohydrology,
geoarchaeology, and fluvial adjustment to climate change.
