XVI INTERNATIONAL MATERIALS RESEARCH CONGRESS 2007
Cancún, México, August 19 -23, 2007



Dear  Colleague:

The Academia Mexicana de Ciencia de Materiales  A. C.  in  
coordination with recognized Scientific Mexican Institutions are  
pleased to announce the “XVI International  Materials  Research  
Congress”  to be held in Cancún, Quintana Roo, México from August 19  
to 23h, 2007. Within the frame of this congress, symposium 5  
“Archaeological and Arts  issues in Materials Science ” will taker  
place. The main objective of this symposium is to reunite well-known  
researchers from different disciplines to present their works related  
with the study and conservation of archaeological and heritage  
materials and to generate debates which will enrich the presented  
results, propitiating the exchange of knowledge.

Knowing of your interest in this field, we invite you to attend this  
meeting and send your abstract before May 17, 2007. Type the title in  
capital letters. Immediately below the title, enter the authors and  
their affiliations (include city, state and country) in the exact  
style and order you want them to appear in the Program and Abstract  
Book.  Use upper and lower case for authors and affiliations.  Be  
sure to underline the Presenting Author Name. Type your abstract one  
blank line below the author and affiliation information.  Use single  
spacing and letter size 12. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words.  
Abstract must be submitted to any of the following electronic mails:  
sil at fisica.unam.mx or jarenas at fisica.unam.mx  , You can obtain more
