Subject: Workshop in Geoarcheology, session II
The Center for American Archeology's August 4-5 Workshop in
Geoarchaeology is closed to further enrollment. Due to continuing
interest, the Center has scheduled a second workshop for the following
weekend, August 11-12.
This intensive, 2-day workshop is appropriate for undergraduate or
graduate students and professional archeologists seeking to further
their understanding of geoarcheology. Instruction will include
informal lectures and hands-on experience describing, sampling, and
interpreting soils and sediments in the field and in the laboratory.
Special attention will be given to using soil and sediment data to
better interpret the archeological record.
Tuition is $200 for the weekend, and includes room, a basic field
lunch each day, and instruction. For more information and or
enrollment forms, visit www.caa-archeology.org.
