Conference: The Archaeology of Anthropogenic Environments
March 23-24, 2007
Southern Illinois University, Carbondale

Registration is now open for the 24th annual Visiting Scholar 
Conference, "The Archaeology of Anthropogenic Environments" at 
Southern Illinois University Carbondale.  The conference 
includes two full days of papers on the theme of human-impacted 
environments and their implications for understanding past 
societies, as well as their importance for putting modern 
environmental problems in context.  The conference banquet will 
feature a keynote address by Professor Graeme Barker of
