this is a late reminder for the upcoming 'Archeometry' special  
session at this year's Goldschmidt conference 2007, the premier  
international Geochemistry meeting, held from 19th - 24th August  
2007. An description of S99 can be found below. (Apologies for

S99: Archeometry
Conveners:      Sabine Klein(sabine.klein at kristall.uni-frankfurt.de)

This session will consider contributions comprising the full range of  
archaeometric and conservatory studies: the analysis of inorganic and  
organic archaeomaterials (e.g. metals, ceramics, rocks, glasses,  
pigments, wood, fabric, fibres), the study of metallurgical processes  
and techniques (slags, technology and production processes, mining),  
new developments in applied analytics (conservation, prospecting,  
dating, provenance studies, technological investigations), and also  
authenticity studies.
